Marquis Broadcast, specialist in broadcast workflow studies and software solutions, and Dalet will be demonstrating Marquis’ Medway media transfer and format conversion software integrated with the new 3.0 release of Dalet Enterprise Editing that now supports end to end production workflows in HD and multiple formats. Showcased on the Dalet booth (SU3702), this powerful workflow development enables customers to take advantage of seamless integration with a greater choice of leading broadcast and post-production systems, including Apple’s Final Cut Pro editing systems, and HD editing and storage solutions from Avid Technology. Systems are highly interoperable with metadata being fully exchanged between systems, giving extra added value to the content.
The demonstration will use Medway to provide a ‘media highway’ for data transfers using SD and HD formats and 4:3 and 16:9 mixed aspect ratios between Avid and Apple editing systems, Rhozet servers and Dalet Enterprise Edition.
“Medway is an invaluable tool that simplifies complex workflows involving SD and HD formats where media files and projects are moved between multiple broadcasting and production systems,” said Kevin Savina, Director of Product Management, Dalet. “By bringing Medway’s functionality to the DaletPlus platform, our customers will be able access a wider choice of ‘best of breed’ media applications as well benefiting from faster, smoother and more reliable workflows.”
